Setting Up Your School

From sign-up to your first enrollment in about two minutes: create your school, set your term, add a class and send families your class page.

Hubl Learn runs terms, classes, enrollment and fees for homeschool co-ops and micro-schools. This guide takes a new school from sign-up to ready for families.

The whole setup, start to finish

Create Your School

1

Create your account

Click Start free trial on the Hubl Learn page and enter your name, email and a password. Already have a Hubl account? Click Log in instead and you'll come back to the same place. A new school gets everything free for 60 days, with no card. After that, classes and enrollment need the School plan.
2

Name your school

Enter your school's name and, if families should see it, the address where you meet. Leave the address blank if you meet in homes or move around. Then click Create School. Your logo, colors and public website get sensible defaults you can change any time under Website and Settings.

Get Ready for Families

Your school opens on Academics → Classes, with a short Get ready for families checklist. Each step has its own button.

3

Set your term's dates

Your school starts with one term, named for the season you're most likely planning (for example, "Spring 2027"). Click Set dates to pick when it starts and ends, or to rename it. Classes meet between those dates.
4

Add your classes

Tell Hubl whether your classes meet in shared periods, then add them: name, grades, meeting time, seats and fee. You can change any of it later.
5

Set up payments (optional)

Connect payments to let families pay class fees online by card. If you would rather not, open the Families tab and fill in How families pay: a note (checks, cash, due dates) and your Venmo, Cash App, PayPal, or a QR code. Families see it when they enroll, on their family page, and in reminder emails. Mark their payments as received from the same tab.
6

Open enrollment

Check Families can enroll now on the term. Until it's open, families can see your classes but can't sign up.
7

Send families your class page

Copy link copies your public class page. Families browse your classes there and enroll their kids.

Tip

The checklist stays until your first family enrolls. After that, the Classes page shows what needs your attention instead, like unpaid balances or classes without a meeting time.
